Meet our staff
Dr. Kim Horton, DVM
Dr. Kim Horton, DVM was a veterinary assistant at The Village Clinic of Veterinary Medicine for 14 years. In 2008 she became the Veterinarian here and renamed it Germantown Veterinary Clinic. She is a Valley View graduate, recieved her Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University and her Veterinary degree from St. George’s University. Dr. Horton carries her love for animals and family over to her personal life, living with her husband James, 2 dachshunds, 1 dalmatian and 2 cats here in Germantown.
Vicki, Office manager
Vicki is our office manager here and she also happens to be Dr. Horton’s mom. She has been in veterinary medicine for 3 years and lives here in Germantown with her husband Martin and their Miniture poodle Buffy. When Vicki isn’t hard at work keeping us running, she enjoys being with her family and doing God’s will with her church family.
Pam, Registered Veterinary Nurse
Pam graduated from The University of Cincinnati in 2010 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Pam assists Dr. Horton with surgery and takes care of patients for their appointments, as well as helping with the phones. She started at the clinic in 2011. She has 2 small dogs, Duke and Daisy and a cat, Beasley. Pam lives with her husband and son here in Germantown. When Pam isn’t here at the clinic taking care of your furry family members, she is at home taking care of her family. She is a big baseball fan and her son is very involved in baseball and she spends a lot of time at those events, which she loves.
Beth, Veterinary Nurse

Beth is a veterinary nurse here at the clinic. She has been in veterinary medicine for 17 years and studied at Penn Foster College. She lives just outside of Germantown with her 2 great danes, pit/rott mix, 3 cats and 3 children. In her spare time away from the clinic, Beth likes to attend her children’s sporting events and watch the North Carolina Tar Heals Basketball.
Amber, Veterinary Nurse

Laney, Veterinary nurse
Laney is the receptionist and a veterinary nurse here at the clinic. She has been in veterinary medicine for 3 years and has a degree from Hocking college in Equine health and complementary therapies/Wilderness horsemanship. Laney plans to continue in the veterinary field while focusing on learning more about therapeutic and rehabilitation for animals of all sizing. She lives just outside of Germantown with her husband Dean, hound mix Ranger, bassett Scooter and her palomino quarter horse Dakota. In her spare time away from the clinic, Laney likes to be outside riding her horse, hiking and fishing. She also likes to spend lots of time with her family, furry and human.
House cat, “Fuzz
Enjoys spending time in her bed, eating and relaxing in general. She will meet and greet patients/clients at front desk from time to time, but does not want to do too much usually. Ahhh…the life of a feline !
